College

My first quarter at East Bay is over and man am i pissed cause break is almost over too! I don't want to go back! But i gotta so i guess whining wont help. Classes were difficult because of their fast pace but i cant say they were entirely boring. They were actually pretty fun now and then, i took and art class and a world religions philosophy course and both were interesting. My mom is coming back from Mexico today so i have to stay up late and wait for her call. That's all for now. Byes.

High School Student No More

I am no longer a high school senior. As of last Friday I am a graduate from the class of ’08. I really will miss my high school; it was fun being a part of its small community. So farewell IBML. I’m kind of scared of what comes next but then again I have no choice but to face it. It’s strange thinking that once this summer is over I wont see all of my old friends again. But at least May and Jag are coming with my sister and I to East Bay. That way I wont be so lonely. Anyway I have work to do so byes for now.

Gradnite

Oh my God was Gradnite fun. Well the way to Disneyland was uneventful…sort of…except that another bus full of students from another school drove up next to us and one of the students inside mooned us. That was hilarious and the principle said, “I believe that if they feel they have to advertise then they aren’t worth much” or something like that. It was so damned hot!!!! (The weather i mean.) Seriously on the way there the air conditioner kept crapping up and it was leaking!!
Well first we went into California adventures, my friends and I went onto some rides then got food. After that at 12 Disneyland was opened and a mad hoard of students ran in. Ash was almost tramples over cause of her size. (She’s almost a midget.) (No offense Ash.) The trip was fun but near 2 am we were tired and hungry and just wanted to leave. We left at five forty cause Cecil needed to do some late shopping. I told her to do it early on but no, she didn’t listen. This is one of those rare times I can say I TOLD U SO!!!!! So then on the way back to IBML we tried to sleep. I only got like ½ an hour of it. When I got home I tried to sleep but couldn’t. I broke my record of twenty hours without sleep by twice that much. Yup I was up for 40 hours.
The next day I went to the beach with my family. It was fun cause there was another heat wave. Only my shoes are now all full of sand. Strange enough I’m amazed my feet don’t hurt as much as I thought they would. Thank God for Aloe Vera. And yeah, now I have school tomorrow. But I had a fun four days break. It was fun and I hate that it ended so soon. Byes then.

Last week was a pretty cool week. I went to Great America with Cecil and some friends, along with several other students from my school. It was fun I went of five roller coasters. I went on one of them twice, that one is the Demon. I went on the Flight Deck, Invertigo, Vortex, Survivor, and Demon. I didn’t go on any other rides because I wanted to digest my food and not risk puking my guts out. I ended the day by riding the Demon for the second time. I also bought a present for Aya since her parents didn’t let her go. I gave it to her today in first period. She loved it. (It was a small stuffed panda with stars and moons on it, it was hanging from a string of shapes: a star, and a speech bubble saying “best friend”.)
Then this weekend I celebrated mother’s day with my mom and sister. My grandma and mom loved their presents. (I made my mom a green bracelet from glass beads and my grandma a red bracelet from red beads.) I can’t believe I only have like twenty days till I graduate. Scary… Oh, this Thursday and most of Friday I wont be home. Cecil and I are going with IBML’s senior class to gradnite in Disneyland. Well that’s all for now. Byes.

Sorry for the late post

I know I haven’t posted in a while. It’s just that I have been busy with college preparations and junk. Anyway, I’ve had an okay week so far. (I know it’s barely Tuesday.) Well here’s what happened last week.
Since it was testing time for the juniors all the seniors were cooped up in a teacher classroom for most of the day. By the second day we realized that we could escape. My friends and I all went to the cafeteria and hung out for hours. Then we had long lunches the first day because we already had our first periods, and a few didn’t have first periods, so we just wandered around Lincoln Center. The next two days not so much, we had to go to classes after lunch.
Then on Friday I was allowed to go to a friends house for the first time! On a weekday I mean. I only go to the house of my closest friends that my mom knows and she also has to know the parent. But this time she said yeah. My dad complained a bit but he swallowed his pride. (No I didn’t shove it down his throat, to those few thinking it. You know who you are!) Being at her house was fun it just sucked that I go there like two hours late.
This weekend I just crammed on homework and then yesterday I just did the same. I started a new journal because I finished y old one though. I love writing. (No duh I know.) That’s all for now. Adios people.

Entry ~4~

Today was an interesting day. It wasn’t boring and was kind of fun, I guess. Since there was testing going on at IBML, there was a lot of seniors crammed into one small room where we could do whatever we wanted until it was lunch time. This all seems fine and dandy until one realized just how small the room is, and how loud thirty kids can be. One of my friends even got a bad headache. Still we managed to hold on until we were all taken to Humphrey’s college for a career presentation. The presentation was boring as hell but the food wasn’t all that bad.
Then for lunch my friends and I wandered around the school area in search of ice cream. Finally we located the cold stones behind the gas station and bought some. We had a longer lunch because all of us either already checked into our first period or don’t have one. All the other kids had to go to their first period class. Unfortunately I still had to go to my second period class even though it wasn’t second period. It was so boring I spent the entire time writing notes to my friends since I already finished the work yesterday. Since I didn’t go to school yesterday I had a lot of spare time. Right now we are reading Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis. It’s a normal story about a man who mysteriously transformed into a gigantic bug in his sleep. Still, it is better than Shakespeare’s Othello.
Also I saw an old friend today after school on the way home. It was good seeing him again, last week I saw the other friend El Pachuco. Man I miss my junior year; I don’t want to graduate yet. Also I’ll be one of the few graduates who have never had a crush. That’s strange to some but convenient for me. My cynicism can be a handful and plus, I have too much work to do to be occupied with trifle matters.

I know I was supposed to post a blog two days ago but to tell you the truth I was tired and lazy. Anyway, last week it was my friend jag’s bday and I made her two bracelets, a key chain, and bought her a small red whine colored Chinese change purse. She said she liked it, and I really hope she did. Jag is one of the smartest people I know and I know she is going to be successful in life. I accidentally forgot her present o Tuesday so I brought it for her on Wednesday. Right now I am burning some Selena disks for my mom since she doesn’t know how to use a computer very well. But she is very smart, and strong. I never get her angry on purpose because there’s a chance I would die, very quickly at that. I’m starting to practice driving more; Cecile (my twin sister) still has more practice to do, more than me. Even though my parents are scared of getting in the car with me they still do and cheer me on. Only my dad shouted at me on Friday when I drove him to the Napa auto parts store. He said I did an illegal stop but it wasn’t my fault. The other person who made me stop was the culprit, he, or she, had stopped away from the stop painted on the floor. The person was on the lane I was supposed to turn into. It pissed me off that my dad shouted at me; he should remember I’m still a beginner.
Also I had a strange dream yesterday as I took a nap around one in the afternoon. I dram my dead dog, a rotweiler (yes I think that’s spelled wrong) who died last fall. I was taking a nap in the trailer in the back of my house, where his body was found before Cecile and I got back from school. I didn’t think much of it since he was found under the trailer, but the thing is the bed is located next if not over that same area. I dram that I was in this huge barren wasteland and the last traces of sunlight were disappearing beyond the horizon. In a matter of seconds it was dark. But my dog was there and I knew I was dreaming. But then I though that this was my chance to say goodbye and apologize for the mean scolding I gave him whenever he fought with my other dogs. (All deceased now.) I hugged him tightly and apologized and said goodbye. But there was another dog there with him, a German Shepherd mix, but it was not my other dog. I was glad he wasn’t alone. Well as I hugged him my family and I got into a car and started to drive. Then when daylight came (it was a sudden laps without warning) my dog and the other strange dog was gone.

Today was my friend Jag's b-day and i accidentally forgot her present. I'm going to take it to her tomorrow. We all went to Humphrey's college for lunch and stayed in the lounge. It was fun, we were all talking about our hobbies. (me Cecile, my sister, Mona, May, Jag, and Aya.) But more later. That's all for now.

Hello everyone. A lot happened in the last few days. Ok this is what’s happened so far.
Friday was like one of my luckiest days. Then on Saturday my sister, mom, dad, and friend May went to CSU East Bay’s open house. I really liked the school and do want to go there. I’m a bit worried about funding but I think some way everything will work out. The school is a wide area with lots of room and fresh air. The view of Hayward is fantastic and the dorms are not too shabby. There is a music program for freshman that I want to take. I want to learn to play the piano and compose. Also I liked the small class sizes and I got some financial aid information. My friend and sister and I all hope we can be roommates. Also there is one more this semester to our jolly group of IBML graduates. A friend I will call Jag. She also wants to be with us because we don’t want to be alone in a big campus. Another friend of mine, we all call her Mona, is going to try to transfer there with us. Anyway, the weather was nice in the morning, but once the afternoon kicked in the sun began to burn. And we were in the bay area!!! The sudden heat wave was intense and I got a serious headache and almost blew chunks. But I made it out okay in the end.
Yesterday (Sunday) I went with my mom to get job applications at stores. I’m going to apply to Barns and Noble and print out a good resume and turn them both in as soon as possible. I just need to get ink for my printer. I also did a little bit of shopping and found some nice black and white stationary paper. It was hot too. Today I received a response to the letter I wrote my friend Pun-Pun (as I call him) and wish him the best of luck. Also Me, My sister and Twilight went to get ice cream after school. I’m also happy because I’m going to both major field trips of IBML. I wrote a letter for a friend who lives in New Mexico. He moved there a few days ago. I hope I can mail it off soon. Anyway, this is all until Friday. Bye-bye.
